# What is the difference between using Value People AI and chatGPT?

## Value People AI provides regulatory-ready AI and built-In data security.

There are several elements built into the AI module, that are important to have in mind when comparing Value People AI to AI chat options such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, etc.:

- **Integrated into Master People Platform:** The AI Module is built directly into MPP Assessments. It works alongside the HR practitioner and supports the full assessment process: from understanding what a role demands, to setting criteria, reviewing results, preparing for interviews, and checking the quality of the final decision. It is integrated into the actual workflow, not added on the side. And is built to support HR processes.
- **The nature is classified as high-risk:** Because the development of the AI module is built around the AI Act's requirements and classification of high-risk, elements such as architectural human oversight, Annex IV technical documentation, published deployer instructions, independent legal classification opinion, etc., is naturally thought of in the development process and the following compliance programme.
- **Candidates are informed:** A transparency disclosure is shared on the test taker site, informing test takers about the AI module, and thereby living up to the EU AI Act.
- **Name blinding:** Candidate names are removed before any data reaches the AI, so rankings carry no signal of gender, ethnicity, or origin. Enforced on every data request and cannot be switched off.
- **Processing of data inside EU:** The AI provider, [Mistral AI](https://docs.mistral.ai/), acts as a named sub-processor under a data processing agreement.  Mistral is a leading France-based artificial intelligence company that develops and hosts advanced Large Language Models (LLMs). Only the minimum data needed is sent to the LLM.
- **No training of the LLM based on user data:** Candidate data transmitted through the Mistral API is never used to train the provider's LLMs.
